Hello! Thank you for taking the time to go through my site and to read more about me. I believe it’s important to get to know me first as a trainer so you can feel more comfortable when deciding whether to work with me or not. To give you a little more detail, I am 31 years old, an avid runner, and an exercise and nutrition enthusiast. My favorite passion is running and running far and fast! I thoroughly enjoy learning and educating myself to better my life and others, which is a huge reason I love what I do! I also work multiple jobs. I coach part-time with the men’s cross-country team at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, as well as teach a fitness and wellness lecture and a Pilates course there.

I moved to Colorado Springs in July 2013 from Michigan, where I grew up to the age of 26. I definitely miss my family and friends, all the lakes and Detroit sports, but I absolutely love Colorado! Especially the Springs!

I have been developing my professional qualifications for many years at this point. I received my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Saginaw Valley State University in 2011, along with my Masters of Science in Strength and Conditioning from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, in August 2015.

My favorite thing about coaching and training others is that I get to help others find the best of themselves, most likely through a potentially difficult time in their lives. Coming to a trainer isn’t an easy step, and I am someone that encourages vulnerability and intrigue when coming to me for help. I work with many people that don’t have all the answers and are searching for a better way to live life.

I’ve had many setbacks and health issues throughout the last few years and realistically my whole life. I have Hashimotto’s Thyroiditis, which is a form of hypothyroidism and an autoimmune disease. I among many others have gotten the same or similar issues. I was often a sick child, never reaching my full potential as an athlete and always wondering what was going on behind the scenes or what I was doing wrong along the way. By changing my diet over the years, learning where to find the toxins, chemicals, and overall just poor habitual food choices, I’ve begun the final laps of finishing off my issues.

So, what do I love to do outside of running, eating well, lifting and learning? I love watching movies, and my favorite TV shows are Friends, The Office and New Girl (with a handful more great sitcoms in there too!).

I look forward to meeting you! Contact me to see if I can help you reach your goals.
